The focus of this training will be on ideas to increase family engagement in a patient’s treatment whether you work with children or adults. We will explore ways to organize, plan and ensure that sessions in which families are involved go as smoothly as possible and most effectively accomplish treatment goals for your patients. This offering will also discuss how to help supervisees and associates more confidently navigate family work, whether they work with children or adults. We will explore research based ideas on helping clinicians engage families for more positive treatment outcomes.
