June’s Saturday supervision group topic will be Family Engagement. We will explore issues related to involving famiiles in treatment, whether you work with children or adults. We will discuss the challnenges of family work and learn ways to improve family involvement and patient success. The cost is $85 for 4 group supervision hours. Reach out for more information.

We will explore issues related to working with families, whether that is in the context of child or adult patients. Participants will gain information on the best ways to engage families in treatment, improve family treatment show rates, learn common goals and approaches when working with families and also how to assist clinicians who are working with families. CEU approval pending for 5 hours of CEUs for LPCs and LPC Supervisors. The cost is $75.

I am Vanessa Brown, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. I gained the majority of my 20+ years of experience in the community mental health sector, working with individuals and families with a variety of mental health needs. I enjoy helping others achieve their goals. I provide supervision for LPC licensure through individual and small group sessions. Having earned my LPC Supervisor license in 2017, I have a wealth of experience as a clinical supervisor as well as experience providing therapy to a varied population.
